If you are already using FLEXlm, you should install the demo license on your existing license server.įLEXlm runs over TCP and uses the socket assigned in the license.dat file on the server. If you are installing a demo license, no license server is needed. It can also be displayed by choosing Licensing from the Actions menu when SoftWindows is run as root. The license.dat file is generated by the License Manager dialog box, which is displayed automatically when SoftWindows is run as root with no license server running.
